It seemed yesterday, it wasn’t though. Today, 6th May 2017 Precious Stone: Lisa Edelstein celebrates 10 YEARS ONLINE!!!!!!!!

It has been a decade, a whole decade, of amazing experience. Among the hosting transfers, the downtime moments, the madness of my brain deciding to close it (I was probably very sick that month!), it passed through all of that and it’s here today at its 10th birthday!!!
Bringing to the fans photos and videos and interviews, we have been her first big fansite and intend to stay strong on that.

For the birthday celebration I thought a layout change was due. I asked my good friend Nicole to help creating something that was spectacular and both funny and entertaining, just as Lisa is… all of those! I wanted to capture her beautiful and contagious smile and her extraordinary beauty! Hope you like it as much as I do. (The coding is all by me!)

Let’s keep celebrating, right to our Lady’s birthday, 10 years online!!!!

She was the only one who could stand against the so famous dr House, and now Lisa Edelstein changed for a new series, Girlfriends’ guide to divorce (Season 3 will start tonight at 9.15 on Premium Stories). Say goodbye to the single ladies from Sex and the city and welcome to the new era with ladies looking for a second chance with happiness, specifically after a divorce, as she tells at Monte Carlo TV Festival. She plays Abby, a writer who gives love advices while her personal life is falling down, but in these new episodes her career seems to have stopped as well. New entries of the series is Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show).

What did you learn from the series?
«In a relationship everyone acts as they feel like, there’s no rules or recipes for a successful love story, and you don’t even have to worry about what society thinks. And I am talking mostly about people of my age, because nobody believes we have no experience, it’s exactly what happened before my marriage that made it such happy one».

You are happily married but on tv you talk about divorce.
«It’s surreal, I know, but it’s actually good to talk about love on tv and not just as a fairy tale, but also talking about the not so happy parts, those that break your heart».

What did you have in common with Lisa Cuddy, dr House’s boss?
«We are similar: we love to be right, we work hard, we are always focused on our job but I have a lot more fun than her, she was too much focused on keeping the control over everything».

You are happily married now, but one like House would have ever had any appeal on you?
«Nope, that cynicism works only on tv (she laughs)».

909 Magazine recently had the chance to sit down and speak with Lisa Edelstein star of the hit Bravo television series Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce which just wrapped up its third season. Many people also know Lisa from her role on the Fox hit drama House for which she played Doctor Cuddy.

909: Of course, many people know you as Dr. Lisa Cuddy from House, or as the self- help author Abby McCarthy from your hit Bravo Network show Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. For those who don’t know, please tell us a little bit about this show.
Lisa: Well, it’s a rollicking romp of a dramedy about a self-help book writer whose life and marriage falls apart quite publicly. She has to recover from her failed marriage, her failed fantasies and her failed idea of herself. It’s sexy, it’s funny, it’s raw and sometimes raunchy and the clothes and shoes don’t disappoint either. How’s that for a sales pitch?

909: Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce is Bravo’s first scripted show. Did that present as a challenge in anyway?
Lisa: It was only a challenge in the sense that Bravo had no experience selling a scripted show to an audience. They were already quite good at selling their reality programs. Their hope was to keep their viewers watching Bravo for their scripted fare, rather then changing the channel when they were ready to change format. That said, our show was their first, their baby, and because of that — they approached it and us with great enthusiasm and excitement. It’s hard for any show to stay on the air especially on an established network of scripted shows.
The demand is immediate and
show’s death often comes quick. That was not true at Bravo. We had a great opportunity to be allowed to grow and find our audience.
